This kind of surprises me that up until the most recent issue (gay marriage), Michigan has been incredibly progressive. So maybe we should get back to our roots, dear Michiganders?

Most Complete Digital Topographic Map of Earth Released
NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratories and Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry collaborated to produce the most complete digital topographical map of the world, released this week.
The ASTER instrument aboard the Terra satellite was able to capture stereoscopic views of the Earth’s surface, giving the orbital images depth and elevation.

As if there was any question as to Michigan’s loyalty to the Red Wings.
I went to the site to get a more accurate look at the map, and I think the most amazing aspect of it is the fact that there are Red Wings fans EVERYwhere…they seem to have a much more scattered fan base than other teams, which is pretty awesome.
National high speed rail system by 2030? Let’s hope so.

Your debut book is super fascinating and contains almost everything that I’m obsessed with [with a heavy emphasis on maps], plus, thanks to border’s and NPR, I am now aware that you are also completely adorbs and your slight lisp and awkward mannerisms make me think you might just be on my team.
