It seems like a really crazy and wonderful and amazing union of a lot of awesome, and I’m way more emotionally invested in this than any sane person should be, but all in all, I feel kind of funny about it. Watching some of the live-blogging of the Prop8...
The words coming out of the proponent to uphold marriage discrimination are completely absurd and devoid of logic. I hope that’s as transparent to those who are in charge of ruling a decision, because their arguments sound like a massive train wreck of epic proportions, and that is giving me lots and lots of hope.

Honestly, this has to be the most logical, sane, and thoughtful response as to why we should end discrimination in this country. It actually kind of gives me hope, because I can’t see anything Ted Olson says that can legitimately be argued against with any kind of persuasive, thoughtful and logical basis.
